For the purpose of our four step process, Interview and Record are set as one step. They are tightly intertwined. As noted, it includes two basic steps.
The interview process includes some initial planning. What do you want to find out? How will you highlight the details? How to get the best possible story? But the interview process extends during the recording of the stories. As you talk with your loved ones you need to try to ask questions in a manner that captures the stories as best as possible. These posts and episodes will help show how to gather those stories through your interview and conversations.
Additionally, the recording part of this process focuses on the equipment needed to do the recording. And it shows how to effectively use the equipment to get the best possible recording.
